Platvis purchases its fish from all over the world, including the Netherlands. The Dutch fish we get, is all fresh from either the auction or directly from the fishermen themselves. We work together with the commissionairs who confrim the quality of the fish according to international standards. By cooling down the fish to a freezing point as soon as it arrives at our factory and by starting production immediately, taste and freshness are being preserved. 

We also import fish from serveral countries around the globe. Herefore we visit every single factory where our raw material comes from in order to garuantee a high quality of the raw material. After our first visit and assesment, we keep auditing the factories ourselves on a yearly basis.

Every single shipment is thoroughly examined by our quality control and monsters of the shipment will be sent to an external laboratory. The raw material will be checked on all possible issues it could have and that is how Platvis maintains its high quality products.
